Starlight FX Ltd. was founded in 2012 by Drew Larsen and Tom Stephenson of Prince George BC. The company was founded on the principles of honesty, integrity and dependability.
Drew Larsen - Chief Financial Officer
Drew has been involved in the fireworks industry for over 40 years as a business owner and licenced supervisor in both pyrotechnics and display fireworks. Drew brings StarlightFX a wealth of experience in show design and planning and is especially focused on providing a family safe environment for every show. Drew is a life long Prince George resident and is very family minded, and understands how important giving back to the community is. Drew recently retired as an Assistant Fire Chief with Prince George Fire Rescue where he had 35 years of distinguished service. Drew is an ERD qualified Fireworks Safety Course Instructor.
Tom Stephenson - President
Tom has been involved in the fireworks industry for 15 years and has worked in the IT industry for 26 years. For the past 7 years Tom has worked at Northern Health. He is a licensed Display fireworks supervisor and is passionate about bringing most spectacular shows to life for everyone to enjoy. Like Drew, Tom is very focused on the safety aspect of fireworks and is diligent that the little details are taken care of. Tom believes that all customers are equally important no matter what size their shows are or where they take place. Tom is also an ERD qualified Fireworks Safety Course Instructor.
Vickie Stephenson - General Manager
Vickie has been involved in the fireworks industry for 15 years and has worked in the shipping industry for over 16 years. Vickie is a licensed Display Fireworks Supervisor and Pyrotechnician. Anyone that has done business with Starlight FX has talked to her at one time or the other. She is the mother of 3 children who are all interested in the Fireworks business as well. Vickie is also an ERD qualified Fireworks Safety Instructor.
